Queen of the Nile Bath
1/2 Litre Goats Milk
1 Teaspoon Almond Oil
6 Drops Rose Essential Oil
Place the Goats Milk into a bottle and add the almond oil
With the bottle top well fastened, shake to mix the ingredients well together
Add the bottle contents to the bath water whilst the water is filling
Just before you get in, add the essential oil to your bath water and mix it in
Lay back and relax for at least 15 - 20 minutes
Relaxing Oatmeal Bath Soak
6 Tablespoons Oats
3 Tablespoons Jojoba oil
3 drops Lavender essential oil
3 drops Frankincense essential oil
Place the Jojoba Oil into a small basin, add the essential oils and mix together Add the oats to the oil mixture and blend together until the oats are evenly coated Place the Oat mixture into a cheesecloth bag and add to the freshly run bath water Lay back and relax for at least 15 - 20 minutes
Dry Skin Lotion
2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Tablespoon Runny Honey
1/2 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
Mix together the oil, honey and lemon juice
Place the oil into a small dark bottle and shake well
Apply to locally to dry skin patches using soft massaging strokes
Store the bottle of oil for up to a week for later use
Soothing Vinegar Bath
250 ml Apple Vinegar
2 Chamomile Tea Bags
Place the teabags into an old, clean jam jar, leaving the strings to the outside
In a pan, heat up the vinegar till almost boiling
Pour the vinegar into the jam jar over the tea bags, seal and leave to stand overnight
After preparing your bath water, remove the teabags from the jar
Add the vinegar brew to your bath water
Soak for 15 - 20 minutes
Venus Exfoliate
Sea water has a history of cleansing and healing properties of its salt content. Used by both the Greeks and the Romans for it's cleansing and healing powers.
Used together with one of the varieties of available milk products (milk, buttermilk, cream, yoghurt, quark, sour cream), for refining and soothing effects , softening, enriching, feeling of wellbeing.
4 Tablespoons Quark
4 Tablespoons Warm Milk
2 Tablespoons Sea Salt
Warm the milk to drinking temperature, add quark and sea salt
Add first the sea salt and mix until dissolved
Add the quark and give a final mix together
Apply to the body, avoiding sensitive areas, starting at the feet, massaging gently and slowly in an upwards direction to the torso
For the arms - start at the hands, work slowly up the arms and to the shoulders
Shower of with warm water
Knees and Elbows Exfoliator
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Sea Salt
Warm the olive oil to body temperature Add the salt and mix well together Massage gently into the knees and elbows Shower off with soap and warm water.
