Tips to encourage Eyelash Growth
Apply a little Almond or Caster oil to the eyelashes with a clean eyebrow brush before going to bed to condition and encourage healthy, natural growth.
Waterproof mascaras dry out the eyelashes. Try using a water-based mascara inbetween or always.
After using waterproof mascara, always remove it thoroughly before going to bed, clean thoroughly and apply a nourishing oil before going to bed.
Choose your eye make-up with care especially if you have sensitive skin and eyes.
Dark Circles
Juice from a Freshly Juiced Carrot
Cucumber
Cut the cucumber into wafer thin slices and soak for 30 minutes in the fresh carrot juice
Lay a soaked cucumber slice under each eye and relax for 10 minutes
Rinse well with warm water
Calming Chamomile
2 Chamomile Tea Bags
Glass Teapot/Bowl/Jug
Place the tea bags into the glass container
Pour over enough "Almost Boiled" water to cover
Allow to steep for 5 minutes
Remove the tea bags and allow them to cool down
Place the cooled tea bags, one covering each eye and relax
Remove after around 15 minutes
Rinse with luke warm water
Green Tea for puffy eyes
2 Green Tea - Teabags
Moisten the tea bags and lightly chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Place the cooled tea bags, one covering each eye and relax
Remove after around 15 minutes
Rinse with luke warm water
Raw Potato for Dark Circles
1 small Potato, finely grated
Prepare 2 squares of cheesecloth, large enough to make a small bag
Place the grated potato in the centre of the cheesecloth squares
Bring the corners together and fasten with an elastic band to make a small bag
Place the bags one over each eye
Relax for 15 - 20 minutes
Rinse off with plenty warm water and moisturise
Beautiful Eyes
2 Tablespoons Low Fat Quark
1 Teaspoon Brewed Black Tea
Place the Quark and the tea into a small bowl or cup and mix together
Soak 2 Cottonwool Pads in the mixture and place over the eyes
Relax for 10 minutes
Rinse off with plenty of luke warm water
