Conditioner

Mayonnaise Conditioner

1 cup Mayonnaise (depending on hair length)
Cling Film
2 Warmed towels

Shampoo hair once and towel dry.
Apply mayonnaise to hair, making sure to cover all the hair from the scalp to the roots
Pile the hair on top of your head and wrap with cling film, taking care to cover all the hair.
Wrap your hair in one of the warmed towels and relax for 10 minutes.
Swap to the next pre-warmed towel and relax for a further 10 minutes.
Remove towels and cling film and shampoo hair as usual.

Keep your hair tip-top by applying the Mayonnaise Conditioner monthly.

Avocado and Banana Deep Conditioner

200g Avocado
200g Banana, very ripe
10g Fresh Yoghurt
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

Preparation:
Peel and chop the avocado
Remove the skin from the banana and chop
Place the Avocado and Banana together with the yoghurt and oil into a food processor and blend well together

To Use:
First, wash your hair with a mild shampoo to remove any oils and dirt and "Towel Dry"
Separate your hair into sections and work the Conditioner in step by step until your whole hair is covered
Gently massage the conditioner through to make sure that all your hair is covered, including the ends
Wrap the hair in clingfilm or a plastic bag and then in a warmed towel
Leave the conditioner for 20 - 25 minutes so that it can work thoroughly in
Rinse off with plenty of warm water
Shampoo to remove any remaining conditioner

Honey and Oil Conditioner

4 Tablespoons Runny Honey
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Mix the honey and oil together in a cup or bowl
Apply to the hair, working with small sections at a time to make sure that all the hair is evenly covered
Wrap the hair in clingfilm or a shower cap and then in a warmed towel
Leave the conditioner for 20 - 30 minutes so that it can work thoroughly in
Shampoo as normal to remove any remaining conditioner
Rinse with plenty of warm water

Condition and Shine

2 Eggs
2 Tablespoons Milk

Beat the eggs and the milk lightly together
Shampoo the hair as usual
Pour on the Egg/Milk mixture and massage through until all the hair is coated
Leave for 5 minutes
Rinse off with plenty of warm

Hair Rinses

Vinegar Rinse

Vinegar separates the hairs, cleans, restores pH balance and adds shine.

Use a simple vinegar rinse made from:
3 Tablespoons Cider Vinegar or other Fruit based variety
1 litre Clean, Warm Water

Simply use the vinegar mixture for your final rinse for a shiny, soft head of hair!

Tomato Juice Rinse

200ml Fresh Tomato Juice

Apply the tomato juice to freshly washed hair
Massage through to make sure that all the hair is covered
Leave for 5 - 10 minutes
Wash off with plenty of clean warm water

Tomato Juice restores the pH Balance and adds shine

White Wine Vinegar Rinse

100ml White Wine Vinegar
100ml Water
2 Tablespoons Chamomile flowers

Place the vinegar and water in a pan and bring to the boil
Sprinkle the chamomile flowers into the mixture and simmer for 15 minutes on a low heat
Take off the heat and allow to cool and pour the mixture through a fine sieve
After washing the hair in the normal way use the Vinegar Mixture as your final rinse

Coffee Rinse

For Brunettes and Redheads

300ml Brewed Coffee
300ml Water

Shampoo the hair as usual and rinse with the coffee
Swill the coffee rinse lightly off with a final rinse

Cider Vinegar & Beer Rinse by SpaIndex.com

1 oz distilled or clean catch rain water
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
7 drops lemon essential oil
1 ounce beer (stale works fine)
5 drops rosemary essential oil
5 drops calendula essential oil (optional, but recommended for blondes)

Mix all ingredients together
Use as a final rinse, rinse well
Beer adds protein to make hair shiny and make it feel thicker
